Replacement Screws Did Not Fit Holes

I would rate this 243, year old camera higher because it is so handy as a monitoring device for our tandem bike which is mounted on the rear of our 25’ travel trailer. But after installing the new batteries and trying to re-assemble the components to the housing, I discovered that the replacement screws for the inner mechanism would not fit into the two holes they are intended for. So I ended up using a slightly larger screw with a different thread pattern, and that worked. The camera is now back in business.

I’m not sure why the new screws wouldn’t fit. NuCam is a good company and the tech support has been excellent. Would still recommend them.
